This intensive, introductory course provides a balanced overview of subsea systems based first hand project experience in shallow and deep water fields around the world, from concept evaluation to first production. It is designed for project managers and project engineers, with or without experience of the subsea sector and is particularly suitable for cost, planning, offshore installation and offshore operation engineers. The objective of the course is to examine the engineering behind the design and operation of subsea production systems including subsea Xmas tree & subsea production controls hardware, manifolds, umbilicals and an overview of key flowline and pipeline design issues.
THE FACILITATOR:
Mr. Patrick Soria Muga has Thirty five (35) years of project, engineering and safety management experience, 31 years of which were in the oil, gas and shipping industry that include the following: Project and HSE management, conceptual, feasibility, risk and safety assessment, PHA/SOA studies, basic and detailed safety and process control design engineering, procurement, planning, organizing, QA /QC, construction, installation, modification, upgrades, start-up and commissioning, and maintenance of International Projects for onshore & offshore oil and gas facilities. Said facilities cover FPSO, gas plant, terminal, oil refinery, petrochemical and oil gathering station operations and offshore topsides with accommodation platforms.
